Please remember that we are “Dark” this Thursday and the following “Thanksgiving” Thursday. This Thursday is our Social at Rumfish Y Vino (my favorite Ventura restaurant), located at 34 N. Palm St., Ventura. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant off N. Oak Street which leads into the back of the restaurant as well as parking on Palm St. 5:30-7:00 PM.

Poinsettias and more Poinsettias. We need orders and I encourage each Rotarian to buy a case and sell at least one case. Please, we need your help!

Last Thursday we had a wonderful meeting. Thanks Joe Strohman for bring a very interesting speaker from the Museum of Ventura County. Andy spoke on some interesting World War II occurrences that took place in Ventura County. We were also pleased to have a past scholarship recipient, Claire Hansen, join us to tell us about her college experience and bring us up to date on her life.

If you have not signed up for the Christmas Party and you wish to be included, please call me at 805-551-6581 to RSVP. It will be a great night at Bill and Kim’s new home. The party is on Dec. 15. Cocktail hour is at 5:00 P.M dinner at 6:00. 1789 Monita Drive, Ventura.

Let’s keep up the good work of bringing guests to the meetings and our social is also a great time to introduce someone to the club.
