Rotary Club of Ventura-East

We are a nonpolitical, nonsectarian social organization comprising local business, civic and professional leaders. We meet regularly to get to know each other, form friendships and through that we are able to solve community and global problems with service projects. Like:
  • Scholarships at 5 local high schools,
  • Interact Clubs at 3 local schools.
  • Support the YMCA, City Center, Ventura Botanical Gardens
  • Promote literacy and career guidance in schools
  • Internationally we support a medical project in Ethiopia and contribute to eliminating Polio worldwide.
The Rotary Club of  Ventura-East meets Thursday noon to 1:30 at the Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura. Come and learn more about Rotary's humanitarian service, high ethical standards in all vocations and help build good will in this community. Use your professional skills and talents to make a difference.

President's Message

It is a great privilege for me to serve as President for the last quarter of our Rotary year and I hope to continue with “Let’s Get Loud”- this year’s moto to let the community know all the good Rotary does right here in Ventura and around the world.
 
We had a great meeting last week with Joe Cahill from the Ventura Botanical Gardens. It is going to be a great spring; all the rain is making for a beautiful time to visit the gardens.
 
Please help our club’s Interact “Buena Closet” project by bringing in hygiene products this Thursday.
 
This week we will have a presentation from Debra Rotes from the Dog Search Foundation headquartered in Santa Paula but serving the world when disasters happen.
