We had our first live meeting, and it was wonderful to see everyone after such a long time.

We inducted Oscar Hernandez into our Rotary family and we know he is going to be a great Rotarian.

Thank you, Joe, for always doing such a wonderful job interviewing our Rotarians, we learned a lot more about Rich Stewart.

A great big Thank you to Cal for every week helping with the distribution of the Thursday dinners at the Poinsettia Pavilion and Thank you to Laura for covering for me at the dinner distributions while I was in Florida.

This week we will have our Scholarship Awards Meeting. We will be giving out money to 22 high school seniors and 17 returning college students in a total amount of $125,000.00.

Our meeting will begin at 11:45 and we will have the Scholarship Awards first.

We will be live from the Poinsettia Pavilion main ballroom (Ventura Room) but we are still running Zoom for any member that cannot attend in person for any reason.

The California Guidelines are different from the CDC information released last week.
“Until June 15, when California plans to fully reopen the economy, we are keeping our existing guidance around masks in place.
As of May 3, 2021, face coverings are no longer required outdoors except at crowded events, and for unvaccinated people, when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
In indoor settings outside of one’s home, including public transportation and schools, face coverings continue to be required regardless of vaccination status.”

Please make sure you bring your mask and keep it until you sit at your table for lunch.

Zoomers we will still have the breakout rooms, but they will be in the middle of the meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you at our future programs and events coming up:
