Guests and visiting Rotarians were introduced by Bill Spellman.
 
President Harriet thanked Amber Stevens for greeting and Vance Thompson for taking attendance.
 
Our raffle prize was donated by Bill Spellman which as a $50 gift card to Woodranch BBQ.
 
Tom Hashbarger gave our joke of the week and John Borneman led us in our song of the day.
 
President Harriet asked everyone to please get out and sell Poinsettias and INVITE guests.
 
Margarida Eidson said that we had a surprise inspection from the Health Department, which we passed, but we cannot use the kitchen to get to our supply cabinet going forward. Please go around, only the caterers staff will be allowed entry into the kitchen.
 
President Harriet thanked the succulent team of Wendy Pazen, Laura Shannon, Kathy McGee and Georganna Hawley for making the beautiful wreaths and pumpkins for Nightmare on the Hill.
 
The Rotary International Convention is coming up in June 2018 and early registration will end on December 15th. If you would like to attend the convention, let President Harriet know and she will get you an application for the convention.
 
The Trivia Challenge sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ventura-South is November 15th. Our team will be Tobias Hildebrand, Joe Strohman and Bruce McGee. Rich Stewart will be our first alternate in case one of our members can't attend.
 
Joe Strohman announced that our speaker will be John Gureany on November 16th.

Rotaract is going to Mexico this weekend for their house build and the next Student of the Quarter will be November 16th.
 
Jordan Eller is getting the names for the military families we will sponsor over the holidays and Carolyn Diacos and Bob Pazen will be doing the shopping.
