President Cal thanked Tim Hughes for a very successful scholarship program. So far we have donated over $700,000 and this year just a little over $125,000.
Bruce McGee introduced Colleen Refo. Colleen spoke about a fundraiser for the Ventura College Jazz program.
George Benz from the Rotary Club of Oxnard spoke about a water well project in Nairobi. There will be a fundraiser coming up. They are setting up a competition between Rotary Clubs with a poker tournament.
Jim Word gave a craft talk.
Jim Word then introduced our speaker, Annegret Riley who spoke to us about her experience growing up in Germany during WWII.
