Tom Swan introduced guests and visiting Rotarians.
 
Guest of Husam Hishmeh was Christina Ahn and visiting us today was Roy Valdez.
 
President Harriet thanked Bill Gray for greeting and Amber Stevens for taking attendance.
 
Midge Stork told us that our opportunity drawing today was a gift basket which included two tickets to an upcoming performance at the Rubicon donated by Amber Landis-Stover.
 
Steve Harbison gave our joke of the day followed by John Borneman who led us in our song.
 
President Harriet asked that Avenues of Service Award sheets be turned in, also, there are oranges in the lobby. Please take them home with you today.
 
Tom Swan spoke about the shredding party at his office tomorrow. $5/box to shred.
 
Amber Stevens invited everyone to come out to Healthy Kids Day at the Y on Saturday from 10:00 - 1:00. We will also be making blankets to give to residents at the City Center.
 
Jeff Hata reminded the incoming board that our 2018-2019 Board Retreat will be on May 19th from 10:00 -1:00 followed by a club social from 1:00 - 4:00.
 
President Harriet passed around a sign up sheet for the Ojai Wine Festival and told us that we would be planting 50 more trees on Saturday.
 
Jordan Eller let us know that we ended up receiving 18 scholarship applications. Our scholarship committee this year will consist of Jordan Eller, Tim Blackwell, Michelle Cekov, Ken Kagan and Tim Hughes. Jordan will need a few club members to be ushers on interview nights.
 
Bill Spellman announced that RYLA started today. We have 5 kids attending this year.
